Need: SPW's broad approach to learning in the school and its surrounding communities, while cost effective through the work of the peer educators, necessitates the mobilisation of resources within the community, the government and other institutions

Aim: To involve all stakeholders in SPW's work to ensure its sustainability and accountability

Key methods: To sensitise both the volunteers and the various partner institutions to each other's work and create appropriate links:
Tapping into Government Schemes such as WATSAN and NABARD.
Working with Government special educational programmes such as CLASS (Child Labour Abolition Support Scheme) and SSA (Sarva Shishya Abayan) a programme for Universalisation of Primary Education.

Involving the local village administration - Panchayat.

Working with the government Public Works Department on school restoration projects.

Use the expertise of other NGOs in technical areas of health and the environment, such as CHAD and RUHSA of Christian Medical College and Hospital, SLRTC Karigiri, Thirumalai Charity Trust Ranipet and EXNORA.
