Need: Dilapidated school environment causing loss of interest, pride and enthusiasm - for both teachers and students

Aim: To improve the school environment and make schools a safer and healthier place for children to learn, play and grow. It is aimed at helping children to develop a sense of pride and ownership of their school and provide a congenial environment for learning. Draw the attention of the government and local village leadership such as the Panchayat to repair and restore class rooms

Key methods:
With the creativity, training and capacity (in terms of spare time as well as ability) the volunteers work with the students and teachers to:

Clean/repair and paint classrooms  

Paint murals inside class room walls relating to their curriculum to enhance class room teaching
Set up a fully functional and operational library
Improve laboratory facility
Make display boards
Create play areas
